Abandoned

Most old negatives and photographs are simply thrown away. Some find their way into antique shops or end up on online auctions. By that time it is rarely possible to trace the original owners, the photographers or their subjects. Nonetheless, I always try to find out as much as possible about the time, the locations and the people on the photos.
